When executing an HTTP Post action, the server-side script which is the target of the HTTP Post does not execute.
Although several reasons can exist as to why the server-side script does not execute, a few possible reasons are outlined below:
If you do not pass at least one parameter with the HTTP Post action, it is possible for the server side script to not execute. Ensure you pass at least on parameter, even if your server side script is not expecting a parameter.
If no variable has been declared to contain the return value (even if there is no data returned from the script), the HTTP Post action will silently fail in DHTML (i.e. no error message will appear). This behavior only exists in the DHTML version of a course.
